You will not miss out on any flavor with this rub!

Delicious ribs are just a few steps away with this recipe.  No need to give up ribs or delicious bbq because you can’t have alliums. Unfortunately, most bbq places guard their recipes and have secret ingredients.  And 9 out of 10 times the secret ingredients contain onions or garlic.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ Cup Sweet Paprika (I Prefer Smoked Paprika or Spanish Paprika)
  • 1 Tbsp Healthy Salt Like Himalayan or Sea Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp Celery Salt or 1 tsp of Celery Seed & ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper (less if you are spice sensitive)
  • 1 ½ tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1 ½ tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 ½ tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
Barbeque Rib Rub

Directions:

Step 1: Combine all ingredients until well mixed and store in an air -tight container.

I use this rub on chicken, pork, beef, fish and even on portabella mushroom caps! Adds tons of flavor to whatever you choose to use it with.  When I use this for ribs, I rub it in and let it sit on the ribs for several hours or overnight before I cook them. This also works great for blackened meat/ fish recipes.
