There are 4 types of pork ribs. Spareribs, St. Louis Ribs, Country Style and Baby Back Ribs. Everyone has their preference; my family likes baby back. Regardless of which you choose, there is some prep that will make your ribs tender and delicious.
Preparation:

Remove the sheath on the back of the ribs. Here’s a YouTube video that explains and demonstrates it beautifully,

Ingredients:

BBQ Ribs
Directions:

Step 1: Follow instructions above for prepping the ribs

Step 2: Cut the racks of ribs in half for 4 equal parts (approx. 5-7 ribs per half)

Step 3: Apply PACK rib rub and generously season every inch of the ribs including the sides.

Step 4: Wrap ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate up to 24 hours to allow seasoning to penetrate the ribs

Step 5: Remove ribs from fridge and unwrap from plastic wrap at least 40 minutes prior to cooking to allow meat to come to room temperature

Quick Cooking in the Instant Pot:

Step 6: Place cooking rack in the pot and add 1 cup of safe broth (chicken, beef or vegetable)

Step 7: Carefully stack the ribs on their sides tee pee style against each other for support.

Step 8: Set the Instant Pot for pressure cook on high for 30 minutes. Lock lid and press start. Make sure release valve is in the closed position. Pressure will build for about 10-15 minutes and then will start to cook.

Step 9: When the timer goes off, use the quick release method according to manufacturer’s instructions, using extreme caution.

Step 10: Slather the ribs with PACK BBQ sauce and cook an additional 5-7 mins on the grill or under the broiler in the oven.

Slow cooking in the oven:

Step 6: Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Remove plastic wrap and re-wrap ribs in aluminum foil.

Step 7: Place foil wrapped ribs on a baking sheet meat side down and bake for 2 hours.

Step 8: Check ribs for tenderness (you will notice them separating from the bone). Cook another 15-30 mins if not falling off the bone.

Step 9: Unwrap the ribs and return them to a baking sheet.

Step 10: Slather the ribs with PACK BBQ sauce and cook an additional 15-20 minutes in the oven, meat side up or under the broiler for 5 minutes.
